Facts about Pesticides at SU

Pesticides may be used by NYSDEC certified applicators only. EHO can assist employees with information about obtaining certification.

All use of pesticides at the University is coordinated through EHO using EHO's Pesticide Application Notification Form. Notification of planned pesticide application must be made to EHO 72 hours prior to the application

Cancellations or Modifications of Previously Notified Pesticide Application Must be reported to EHO using the Pesticide Application Cancellation/Modification Form

All regulatory reporting is completed by EHO and submitted to the appropriate agencies.

The Pesticide Users' Manual was developed to assist in the safe use of pesticides at the University.
