The Radiation Protection Program provides guidance for safe use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. The Program is designed to provide effective safety management, basic safety instruction and essential safety services related to the use of radioactive materials, radiation-producing equipment, lasers and non-ionizing radiation sources.

Ionizing Radiation Protection
Information related to the use of Radioactive Materials (open and sealed sources) and Radiation Producing Equipment (x-ray units, electron microscopes, etc.) at SU.

Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection
Information related to the use of Non-Ionizing Radiation Sources (Lasers, Radio-frequency Sources, etc.) at SU.
