Chemical Waste Pickup Form
The Hazardous Waste Management Program is maintained to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing disposal of hazardous chemicals.
These complex regulations require that all personnel at SU dispose of hazardous waste chemicals and other materials according to proper procedures.
These hazardous waste streams may include waste chemicals, batteries, fluorescent lamps, discarded contaminated equipment, etc.
Waste minimization is strongly encouraged at SU and EHO manages an Excess Chemical Exchange Program to encourage recycling of laboratory chemicals.
EHO staff provide consultation on hazardous waste management and disposal.
